Prince William, Kate Middleton and King Charles III Speak Out About Liverpool Crash
The Windsor Castle grounds security recently experienced a close call.ย
On June 1, an intruder attempted to break into the 13-acre estate where Kate Middleton and Prince William reside with their children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 6, Thames Valley Police confirmed to NBC News.
โAt just after 1 p.m. on Sunday a man has entered restricted grounds at Windsor Castle,โ the authorities told People in a statement. โHe was quickly challenged by Met police officers and arrested. He did not enter the inner grounds of Windsor Castle.โ
Indeed, Thames Police also confirmed the individualโwho police told NBC News was a man in his 30sโwas detained and has already been released from custody.ย
โHe was arrested on suspicion of trespass on a secure site and possession of class A drugs,โ the police added. โHe has been bailed and an investigation is ongoing by Thames Valley Police.โ
E! News has reached out to Thames Valley Police regarding the break-in but has not yet heard back.
