However, Millie, 21, came up with a quick solution to make sure her dress couldn’t be debuted before she and Jake—the son of Jon Bon Jovi—made it down the aisle on their big day.
“So I thought, ‘Okay, I’m going to find a dress that’s the complete opposite,’” the Enola Holmes actress noted. “Bedazzled with gloves and it was kind of a peachy tone. I was like, ‘I’m gonna walk out and I’m gonna start fake crying, pretending that I found the gown.'”
And her plan worked, as the photographer “got the whole thing and it sold.”
“She thought she got some quality,” Millie joked. “Well, let me just tell you right now, it definitely wasn’t. I tricked you.”
