Four days after his arrest, Lil Nas was arraigned by a judge on $75,000 bail and was seen exiting Los Angeles Superior Court in Van Nuys, Calif., wearing a blue inmate uniform and a pair of sandals.
Ahead of his court hearing, his attorney Christy OโConnor alleged that there has been no evidence that any drugs were involved, according to NBC News. She also noted what a โremarkableโ life Lil Nas has led thus far.
โAssuming the allegations here are true, this is an absolute aberration in this personโs life,โ OโConnor said in court, per the outlet. โNothing like this has ever happened to him.โ
Meanwhile, his father Robert Stafford expressed that his son is โvery remorseful for what happened.โ
“Heโs going to get the help that he needs, and just keep him in your prayers,” he continued. “Give him the same grace and mercy that God gives everyone.โ
