“I saw the FaceTime, I saw it was Travis,” he recalled to ABC News 5 Cleveland on Aug. 26, “and then I saw Taylor there with him, I knew what they were going to say, and they let us know.”
And the Kelces relished in the milestone privately this past weekend before going public with the news on Tuesday.
“We actually went to a thing in [Kansas City] Sunday night, which was an ESPN airing of The Kingdom,” Ed explained of his outing with ex-wife Donna Kelce, sharing that when they went to Travis’ home after, their future daughter-in-law had made them “a wonderful dinner.”
He added, “To just watch the two of them, just crazy about each other. It’s truly kinda neat. They’re just two young people very much in love.”
