Ellen Pompeo and Chris Avery—who have been married since 2007 and share children Stella, 17, Sienna, 11, and Eli, 8—stepped out for a rare red carpet date night at Vanity Fair‘s 2025 Oscars party.
The duo—who have been married since 2007 and share children Stella, 17, Sienna, 11, and Eli, 8—were all smiles as they posed for photographers at the star-studded after-party, with Chris rocking an oversized black suit and tie and Ellen donning a plunging long-sleeved black gown. The Grey’s Anatomy actress wore her hair down and accessorized her look with diamond jewelry, a black and gold clutch and a fur jacket that she wore draped over one shoulder. The couple’s night out comes as Ellen is preparing for the premiere of Good American Family, her first major acting role outside of Grey‘s since she started playing Meredith Grey on the Shonda Rhimes hit 20 years ago. The series—which premieres on Hulu March 19—follows the story of Natalia Grace, and the 55-year-old plays the Ukrainian orphan’s mother.
