Five days after news surfaced that he and Alix Earle had broken up, the Houston Texans wide receiver returned to social media with what appears to be a humorous nod to the commotion surrounding the end of his relationship.
Alongside pictures shared to Instagram Dec. 11 of his snazzy pre-game arrival outfits from throughout the NFL season, Braxton simply wrote in the caption, “What did I miss?”
Leaning into the playful tone of the post, many users responded to the 30-year-old with cheeky answers, with one writing, “Every single one of Alix’s shows…”
Indeed, speculation of Alix and Braxton’s breakup swirled during her time on Dancing With the Stars earlier this year since the NFL player didn’t attend any of the season 34 tapings, though she consistently attributed his absence to his football schedule.
Following the season finale in November—which saw Alix and her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy place second behind winners Robert Irwin and Witney Carson—the Hot Mess podcast host spurred even more concern of trouble in paradise when she decided to stay in Los Angeles instead of flying to see Braxton play in any football games.
