But while Juliana, 28, got the ring, Litia, 32, left the island broken-heartedโand despite Grantโs efforts to end things amicably, Litia accused him of being โmisleadingโ in the buildup to the final rose ceremony.
โI just want to be clear that Iโm confused and Iโm sad,โ she said as she parted ways with Grant before adding, โand Iโm mad.โ
During the live After the Final Rose portion of the episode, Litia confronted Grant for his lack of โtransparencyโ about how conflicted he truly was. After he apologized for hurting her, Litia made a bold declaration about her own self-worth.
โI know that I deserve someone waking up one morning and knowing without a shadow of a doubt that theyโre gonna choose me,โ she told Grant. โI think every woman deserves that.โ
Ahead of the finale, Grant admitted that having to break someoneโs heart in order to find true love wasnโt an easy thing to do.
โI lead with my heart and I’m an emotional guy,โ he exclusively told E! News, โso I did develop feelings and I didn’t want to let people down. It’s hard for me to do, but Iโm trying to find my wife and I had to make a decision.โ
However, he was quick to emphasize that the process was worth it in the end.
โI’m very happy with what I did,โ he said, โand if I could do it again, I would do the same thing.โ
