Selena Gomez may be out to prove she loves Benny Blanco like a love song.
The “Look at Her Now” singer’s latest social media post has fans speculating that she and her fiancé, who announced their engagement in December, could be teaming up on an upcoming musical collaboration.
In a post on Instagram Stories Feb. 13, Selena shared a photo of a handwritten note reading, “I said I love you first.” Shortly thereafter, Benny—who has written and produced chart-topping hits for the likes of Rihanna, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5 and Katy Perry—reposted the cryptic message on his own Instagram Stories, leading some to think that the note might actually be a song title.
It wouldn’t be the first time the couple—who previously collaborated on the 2019 single “I Can’t Get Enough” alongside J Balvin and Tainy—have teased the idea of working together again. After a TikTok user asked Benny, 38, to “please make some new songs for our queen” in January, he responded with a video of the 32-year-old adjusting a microphone in a home studio.
