Savannah Guthrieย is getting honest about a party foul.
The Today co-anchor confessed to getting a bit too rowdy during a holiday party, admitting to Jenna Bush Hager that she โspankedโ a network correspondent amid the celebrations.
The revelation came during the Dec. 23 episode of Jenna & Friends, during which the pair answered questions submitted by fans and Savannah stumbled upon a submission that hit a little too close to home.
โMy office holiday party is in a few days,โ the 53-year-old read from the inquiry. โMy work bestie Jackie is usually โover-servedโ and becomes inappropriately flirty at these events. Last year, she was hanging all over our boss and she doesnโt remember it at all. Should I say something ahead of time or roll the dice?โ
After Jenna, 44, jokingly asked producers if they had submitted the question themselves, Savannah quipped that she had experience with a similar predicament.
โI just have to say, as someone who has spanked a network correspondent at a holiday party,โ she began, before clarifying that she did not make contact and was simply “air spanking.โ
And while Savannahโwho has been married to Michael Feldman since 2014โdidnโt identify the correspondent by name, she did that it was โa guy.”
