Less than two weeks after filing for divorce from Keith Urban following 19 years of marriage, the AMC Theaters brand ambassador, 58, detailed why her favorite aspect of growing older has been learning how to handle whatever life throws at her.
โThe best part is the experiences that you’ve accumulated,โ Nicole told Harperโs Bazaar in an interview published Oct. 9. โYou go, โOh, Iโve been here before. I actually know how to handle this now.โ Or, โMaybe I havenโt been in this place, but I’ve experienced something similar to this, and I do know that I will get through it.โโ
The Practical Magic actress added, โThereโs something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through.โ
And while Nicole feels equipped to persevere through anything, she is aware that pain is part of the growing process.ย
