Paul Walker’s memory lives on 12 years after his tragic death.
The Fast and Furious star’s daughter Meadow Walker offered a touching tribute to her late dad as she marked the anniversary of his death in a fatal car crash at age 40 on Nov. 30, 2013.
In a post on her Instagram page, the 27-year-old shared three throwback pics from one of her childhood birthdays, in which she sat on a kitchen counter while Paul held up a flower-shaped cake adorned with four candles. The second image showed the father-daughter duo leaning in for a kiss, while the third saw Meadow smiling for the camera as her dad kept his gaze fixed towards his only child.
“12 years without you,” she wrote alongside the photos. “I love you forever.”
The model, whose mom is Paul’s ex Rebecca Soteros, has worked hard to carry on the actor’s legacy following his passing. In 2015, she founded the Paul Walker Foundation—a nonprofit organization dedicated to wildlife conservation and ocean protection—in a nod to her dad’s college studies in marine biology.
