Harvey Weinstein has entered the chat.
The disgraced media mogul shared his reaction, through his rep Juda Engelmayer, after Oscars Best Actor winner Adrien Brody—whose partner is Harvey’s ex-wife Georgina Chapman—made reference to Harvey and Georgina’s kids in his acceptance speech.
“Harvey is happy for Georgina,” a rep for Harvey—who is currently serving a 16-year sentence in California for rape and sexual assault—shared with Us Weekly, “and grateful that his kids are being loved and cared for as they deserve to be.”
Harvey and Georgina—who share kids India, 14, and Dashiell, 11—were married for 10 years before she filed for divorce in 2017 amid his sexual assault allegations, though their divorce wasn’t finalized until 2021.
While onstage at the Oscars, Adrien, who began dating Georgina in 2019, made sure to shoutout the kids in his life, sharing, “Dash and India, I know it’s been a roller coaster, but thank you for accepting me into your life. Popsie’s coming home a winner.”
