Halle Bailey, DDG Drop Domestic Violence Restraining Orders and Reach Custody Plan
It’s the most heavenly time of year for Halle Bailey.
Nearly a month after the “Do It” singer and her ex DDG—who share 23-month-old son Halo—dropped the domestic violence restraining orders they sought against one another, she reflected on how the past year has impacted her.
“It’s been a really transformative year,” Halle told E! News’ Will Marfuggi in an exclusive interview at the GQ Man of the Year dinner in Los Angeles earlier this month. “I’ve been so excited. I released an album.”
“I just feel healed and happy and free,” Halle added. “I just want people to listen to the music, and I’m grateful to be here.”
In addition to releasing her debut solo album Love?… or Something Like It last month, the Chloe x Halle member also reached a milestone in her motherhood journey, coming to a temporary custody agreement with DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) on Oct. 27, according to court docs obtained by E! News.
