Goldie Hawn and Diane Keaton werenโt just first wives togetherโthey were also lifelong friends.
Following Dianeโs death on Oct. 11 at the age of 79, Goldie shared a moving tribute to her former First Wives Club costar, sharing she wasnโt โreadyโ to lose Diane.
โWe agreed to grow old together, and one day, maybe live together with all our girlfriends,โ Goldie wrote in her Oct. 11 Instagram post. โWell, we never got to live together, but we did grow older together. Who knowsโฆ maybe in the next life.โ
Writing that Diane โstole the hearts of millions,โ Goldie also remembered their time working on First Wives Club together, sharing, โOur days starting with coffee in the makeup trailer, laughing and joking, right through to the very last day of filming. It was a roller coaster of love.โ
And with countless roles in beloved movies, Dianeโs legacy is one Goldie, 79, knows will live on.
