In celebration of what fans of the sci-fi series deem Star Wars day May 4, Billie honored her late mother Carrie Fisherโs depiction of Princess Leia by having her and husband Austen Rydellโs kids Kingston, 3, Jackson Joane, 2, watching the 1977 film.ย
And Billie wrote in the caption of her May 4 post, using emojis, โMay the 4thโ
Billieโs sweet update comes just a few months after she commemorated the eighth anniversary of her motherโs tragic 2016 death.ย
โIt has been 8 years since my mom died,โ the 32-year-old wrote in a December post. โAs my son would say โthatโs a lot!โ I always dread this day. I spend so much time leading up to it thinking about how awful Iโm going to feel. And my dread is usually right. I woke up this morning with a dark cloud over me.โ
