As fans tuned into the And Just Like That season three premiere May 29, many noticed a hilarious gaff in the production—and no, not the oversized gingham hat Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) wore during a hot summer’s day in New York City. Instead, all eyes were on Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury) and her dessert choice.
While walking through Washington Square Park, Seema recounted how she almost burned down her apartment while holding a suspiciously stiff ice cream cone.
“Can we at least pretend we’re eating real gelato?” a TikToker joked in the April 3 video, laughing at the season three scene. “Watch. Watch as this actress just flings around this cone. I hate this show so much.”
Indeed, Seema used the icy prop to explain the almost-lethal accident that happened at her apartment, and the fake scoop of gelato didn’t fall (or melt) during the scene.
