Selma Blair is grateful to be feeling good.
The Cruel Intentions star, who shared her multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis in 2018, offered a positive update on her health, revealing that sheโs been relapse-free for a โcouple of yearsโ after undergoing rounds of chemotherapy and stem cell treatment.
โThat, of course, means the world to me that Iโm not, at this moment, accumulating more damage in my brain,โ she said in an interview with Stellar published Nov. 22. โI have also made a lot of strides with the vibe of neuroplasticity.โ
Indeed, the actressโwhose MS has been in remission since 2021โsaid she felt โvery, very luckyโ as she continues to advocate for others battling the autoimmune disease.
โEveryoneโs experience with MS is different,โ she continued. โI think I do have a certain place [to speak publicly]. My big mouth likes to see what I can do about stigma.โ
With her health in good standing, Selma, 53, is also diving back into acting, noting that she has three new acting projects in the works.
