“I just didnโt take it seriously,” she recalled, admitting that she spent much of her youth slathering on baby oil and iodine before laying in the sun. “Plus, I didnโt know that skin cancer was a big deal. I was like, ‘One, itโs not skin cancer. Itโs moles. Get over it.'”
Over the last few years, Teddi has been candid about her health journey. And thatโs included firing back after a follower suggested her stage 4 cancer diagnosis is likely a death sentence. After all, Teddi is maintaining an optimistic and positive outlookโespecially when it comes to her recovery.
โThese kind of comments make me really sad,” Teddi replied in her Instagram Stories. “I know people are trying to help but heart breaking for me to read. Of course I know the chances but I truly believe with my whole heart I will beat this and watch my kids graduate.”
