Motherhood is fantastic for Margot Robbie.
More than nine monthsย after givingย birth to a baby boy with husband Tom Ackerley, the Barbie star is relishing her new life as a parent. So much so, she’s having a hard time putting her joy into words.
“It’s funny, you try to explain to someone who has kids, you donโt need to because they get it,” Margot told Entertainment Tonight in a video published Aug. 20. “And if they donโt, itโs probably just really boring to hear.”
She added of being a mom, “It’s the best.”
While Margot hasn’t shared much about her son, including his name, she’s taken the title of being her little one’s mother to heart. In fact, the 35-year-oldโwho married Tom in 2016โwas spotted wearing a gold chain necklace reading “mama” during some downtime in her native Australia earlier this year.
Margot’s pregnancy with her first child came following the booming box office success of 2023’s Barbie. Now returning to the big screen alongside Colin Farrell in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, she recently quipped,ย โThatโs the longest break Iโve ever had between jobs.”
