Ben Affleck Reunites With Exes Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner to Attend Kids’ Play
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship has never gone the way of some of his movies.
While films like Deep Water and Gone Girl depict marriages that have crumbled disastrously—and often fatally—the truth is, Ben and Jennifer have maintained a more than amicable relationship in the years since their 2018 divorce.
As Ben—who shares kids Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13, with Jennifer—told GQ in an interview published March 25, “I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well.”
In fact, he says much of their success has been how they’ve learned to jointly navigate the tabloids and scrutiny over their lives, making sure their children know the truth.
“We used to have a thing, my ex-wife and I, when they would see something on a supermarket stand,” Ben explained, “we would say, well, ‘You know this isn’t always true because if it were, you would have 15 brothers or sisters or whatever the number of stories is where they said that your mom was pregnant.’”
