“When people ask me, โWhere are you from?โ Iโm always proud when I say, โTucson, Arizona,'” Savannah explained in the segment. “I grew up there, went to college there, my mom still lives there, and honestly, a part of me has really never left.”
The University of Arizona grad was born in Melbourne, Australia, where her father, Charles Guthrie, was working at the time. They lived there for two years before moving to Tucson.
โBy far, my favorite part about Tucson is family,โ Savannah said. โEl Charro is the oldest family-owned Mexican restaurant in America, and the perfect place to catch up with mineโmy mom, Nancy, and sister, Annie.โ
The Guthrie ladies were also together for Savannah’s 54th birthday Dec. 27, the veteran news anchor captioning photos with her mom, sis, husband Michael Feldman and their children Vale and Charley, “birthday wish comes true every day with these beautiful people by my side.”
